The Spirit of Morgan City Christmas Festival

The Spirit of Morgan City Christmas Festival

Location:
Morgan City Historic District

Corner of Everett and Second Street Morgan City, LA 70380

Named after the world famous "Spirit of Morgan City" Shrimp Boat, the Spirit of Morgan City Christmas Festival is like a Hallmark movie come to life. Set in the beautiful Morgan City Historic District, this event coincides with the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce Mistletoe and Moss Shopping event. Family activities, performances, and even Santa himself will be in Lawrence Park, with ornament decorating at the Artists Guild and stories with Mrs. Clause at the Library. There are also a variety of food trucks and live music. The lighting of the Oaks is the main attraction that transforms Lawrence Park into a scene from a hometown Christmas movie.
