DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Bayou Bend Fitness Center in association with the Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival.\nwhere you can opt for either a 5k (3.1 miles) or a one-mile fun run.\nGet ready for an exhilarating day in the historic downtown of Franklin.\nAs you traverse the course\, enjoy the sights of our iconic lamp posts\, stunning antebellum homes\,\nmajestic live oak trees\, the historic downtown area\, and the diverse wildlife along the Bayou Teche.\nAll skill levels of runners and walkers are encouraged to participate!\nKids aged 10 and under will receive a Running of the Bears medal.\nThis event will take place at Pocket Park in downtown Franklin at 8 am.
