DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association and Sponsored by Monroe-West Monroe CVB.\nThis event will be at Kemper Williams Park.\nStart time is 9 am and check in by 8:30 am.\nAdmission: Adults is $10\, 17 and under is $5 (includes T-shirts & scorekeeper fees).\nHorseshoe pitching is open to everyone and is a family and healthy sport. Concessions will be sold along with a 50/50 raffle.\nFormat: 40 shoes\, round robin\, handicap\, cancellation. National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHSP) rules will be in play.\nBrackets will consist of Men (40ft.)\, Women (30 ft. age 65 and older)\, Juniors (17 and under)\,\nCadets (12 and under)\, may be combined or merged into other brackets\, depending on number of entries (TD decision).\nGold (1st)\, Silver (2nd)\, and Bronze (3rd) Medals will be awarded in all brackets.\nClasses (Brackets) will consist of 5 – 7 players\, depending on the number of entries (TD decision).\nSanctioned players will be categorized by their current ringer % and status.\n1st place ties – 40 shoe playoffs. 2nd and 3rd place ties – who beats who then total points.\nIf not a sanctioned player\, you are entitled to “one free” sanctioned tournament but must pay entry fee (possible non sanction division).\nPreregister by July 11th\, 2024.\nTo enter contact: Tim Gilmore – (985)-759-0346\, Craig Rink – (504)-270-7166\, or AI Dodson – (985) 519-3644.
