St. Mary Community Action Agency, INC. announces the 28th Annual Krewe of Head Start Parade. “Honoring Our Community Helpers”, “Rolling Through Downtown Franklin” (beginning at Franklin High and Ending on Third Street) line up is at 11am in the Franklin Sr. High School Secured Parking Area (located off Hwy. 182 and Cynthia Street in Franklin, LA). The parade will start at 1pm. All organizations/Local Schools are invited to participate. Krewe of Head Start Parade started in 1993 as the major recruitment tool for pre-school children aged 3 to 5 marketing tools for all other agency programs offered at St. Mary CAA. Our goal this year will be to market the premier early childhood programs in St. Mary Parish ow offering our Early Head Start program serving two-year-olds. Our children are our future! We also serve as the Lead Agency of the St. Mary Parish Early Childhood Networking which focuses on quality of services for children aged 0 to 5 in St. Mary Parish.
