Join the City of Franklin and the Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau for a Fais Do-Do Kick Off on Monday, August 14 from 6-9p.m. to celebrate the Fete Dieu du Teche South coming to Franklin for the first time. The Fete Dieu du Teche South led by Fr. Michael Champagne will have more than 100 boats in a procession traveling up the Historic Bayou Teche on Tuesday, August 15 to New Iberia with stops in Baldwin, Charenton and Jeanerette. Come celebrate as one community with Live Music, award winning Jambalaya cooked by the Franklin Fire Department and Community Fellowship as we welcome 1st time visitors from the tri-state region to Historic Downtown Franklin.
