and Morgan City High School as we celebrate the official ribbon cutting for the Women’s Care & Comfort Cabinet —
a first-of-its-kind prevention initiative in St. Mary Parish.
The Women’s Care & Comfort Cabinet is a free, public-access cabinet that provides menstrual products to anyone in need.
When basic needs go unmet, it can increase vulnerability to sexual exploitation and abuse.
By meeting those needs, we strengthen prevention and create safer environments for everyone.
This initiative represents true community collaboration — bringing together partners, students,
and local leaders to promote dignity, safety, and access for all.
