The water gets loud again on the Cajun Coast as the Twisted Cat Outdoors 2026 National Championship returns for a second year in a row, bringing the nation’s top catfish anglers back to Morgan City for a heavyweight showdown on the river.

Set along the Freret Street dock on the powerful Atchafalaya River in Morgan City, this stretch of moving water becomes a living arena where strategy, skill, and a little Cajun grit decide who rises to the top. Boats launch into the current like chapters opening on a competition story that only the Cajun Coast could host.

Join us November 6–7, 2026, as lines hit the water and anticipation builds all weekend long. Daily weigh-ins take place at 3:00 PM at the Morgan City dock, where every catch could shake up the leaderboard and crown a new champion right on the riverbank.
