John Stokes and Dale Kernahan have been caring for and educating with Birds of Prey for a combined 58 years. They both have a tremendous passion for the welfare of Birds of Prey, and the overall health of the natural world. With every educational encounter with the public, they bring their wealth of knowledge, professional approach, and most importantly their heartfelt devotion, to one of nature’s most remarkable creatures.
Wings to Soar is a non-profit birds of prey environmental education organization founded by John and Dale Stokes. Their mission is to educate people about the magnificent birds of prey (or raptors) of America. They do this by bringing a variety of live birds of prey to locations for fun and informative presentations. Presentations feature raptors such as a Falcon, Hawk, Owl, Black Vulture and a Bald Eagle. Many of the birds are free flying for an unforgettable “close encounter!”
