Mark your calendars and get ready to make some unforgettable memories!
Kick off the Easter festivities on Sunday, April 6th, with the Mommy & Me Tea Party at Gather on Main from 11:30am-12:30pm. This charming annual event is a perfect way to share a special moment with your little one, whether you’re a mom, grandma, or auntie. Dress up in your Sunday best and enjoy tea, treats, and a simple craft. Each child will take home a plush animal as a keepsake, and of course, the Easter Bunny will be there for photos! This event always sells out, so be sure to reserve your spot early.
Later that afternoon, keep the fun going at the Easter Egg Hunt at the Asian Cajun Trailer from 1pm-5pm. This family-friendly event promises an afternoon of excitement, featuring a bounce house, scavenger-style egg hunt, festive photo booth, craft vendors, and delicious treats from the coffee trailer. The Easter Bunny will be there for meet-and-greets, making it the perfect chance to snap some fun holiday photos!
The NICS Easter “EGG”travaganza is April 6th from 1-4pm at the MD Shannon Elementary playground! Children with disabilities and their families are invited to enjoy food, fun activities, photos with the Easter Bunny, and an exciting Easter Egg Hunt.
The celebrations continue the following weekend with the Easter Eggstravaganza on Friday, April 12th, at the Bayou Vista Community Center. From 10am-12pm, children requiring accommodations will have their own special time to enjoy the event. Then, from 1pm-3:30pm, kids ages 0-12 can take part in a day packed with games, a train ride, fun jumps, and refreshing snowballs. The Easter Egg Hunt kicks off at 1:15pm, followed by the Easter Basket Contest at 2:30pm, with winners announced at 3:30pm. Plus, there will be a blood drive at noon—so while the kids have their fun, adults can take a moment to give back to the community.
Join Morgan City Main Street for an Easter Egg Hunt on April 12th from 10-11am at Lawrence Park! Kids ages 8 and under can hunt by age group, and those who bring a decorated Easter basket could win a prize and take a photo with Mayor Lee Dragna. Don’t forget to bring a separate basket for the hunt!
