Join them for an engaging discussion with author Peter Nelson Clan Trilogy,
compelling stories based on true events from the Chitimacha Reservation in Charenton, LA.
Free and open to adults. The Noble Nelson Clay Trilogy: Cousins Peter and Rover,
descendants of Chitimacha chiefs, reconnect with their heritage after discovering their shared ancestry through DNA.
Retracing 6,000 years of Chitimacha history, they uncover how racial injustice erased their family from tribal rolls and
set out to restore their ancestors’ rightful place among “the people of the many waters.”
